The Real enemy

Ephesians 6 :10-11 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

If you knew an enemy was waiting outside of your house trying to attack you, how would that change your approach to the day? If you looked at arguments with your family members as part of a design by one that wants to destroy you, how would that change your interaction with them. If you knew that bad thoughts and bad attitudes were planted in your mind by one that wanted you destroyed how would that change what you think about?

If we could learn anything from the Pink Panther movies is that Inspector Jacques Clouseau had Ito which would always keep him alert for the unexpected. He would always hide and drop in on him at unexpected times just so Clouseau would always be ready for the unexpected.

In scripture we are taught to always be alert for what we do not see because we have an enemy that is trying to destroy us.

1 Peter 5:8 8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Satan is looking for the right time to attack you. What comment puts you in a bad mood? What situations make you not want to trust God? Do you think those things just happen or do you think that it was planned? When you are weak you can be sure the attacks are coming because lions attack the weakest in the pack. Live each day with the thought in mind that someone is trying to destroy you, your family, and any other relationships you have.

If you can not remember to always be ready then hire yourself an Ito like Clouseau did, so that you will always be ready for any attack.
